Founder Peter Guggi completed his studies in Commercial Science (today: International Business Administration) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration parallel to his law studies at the University of Vienna. After a scholarship (Young Executive Training Program for Japan) in Tokyo, he started his career as head of a sales & marketing department at an Austrian sporting goods manufacturer (Atomic – meanwhile taken over by a consortium with the participation of Tencent) in Tokyo. This was followed by positions as Sales Operations/ Controlling Manager for a NASDAQ-listed data storage specialist (EMC – now Dell EMC) in Tokyo and Boston.
